HAIR BOW HOLDER / MAGNET BOARD

We went to a baby shower yesterday for my cousin's wife. After some thought, I figured that since momma-to-be was a hairdresser, what better gift than a hair bow holder? Cuz' you know that little girl is ALWAYS going to be one decked out little cutie. But, I planned on making a little bigger one and thought it was such a waste of space. After throwing ideas around, I figured a magnet board would be cute for a little more than half the space. Funny thing about the board -I had no idea what the colors were for the nursery. Last time we had a baby shower on that side of the family I made the gift in browns & pinks. So, I figured this go around I would use hot pink and black. Love those colors together - it's just so girly and cute. Once the mommma-to-be opened the gift I found out they were her EXACT colors. Dang, I'm good!
I thought it turned out pretty cute and I have to be honest. This is the first time I've really crafted since December. I know, I know. I don't know if Christmas burnt me out or what, but I just haven't had the biggest desire. Sigh. But, I'm thinking I'm back in the groove - I'm actually looking forward to putting together my Mother's Day gifts!
